The American Culinary Federation is the largest professional chefs' organization in North America, providing opportunities to network, compete and learn. The ACF local chapter is a non-profit organization that focuses on education and support of the culinary community in St Louis.

Our First Culinary Workshop
We cannot prepare employees to be leaders in their careers if they are required to follow our every order and instruction without question. Nor can we expect our employees to learn to be productive team leaders or members if they are not provided the opportunity to have a positive experience managing or serving as a member of a team while developing as part of your team
In this workshop attendees will learn how Dr. La Lopa has successfully cultivated leadership and teamwork skills among his students through his teaching various classes over the years. The workshop will consist of one 50 minute module on ways to shape future leaders, followed by one on teamwork. The third 50 minute module will give attendees to work alone to identify ways to incorporate what was learned in the first two modules to their teaching.

HELP US HELP THOSE IN NEED
In staying true to our core purpose and values we are supporting relief efforts made to those effected by hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Many of our culinary professionals and their families are in need of our help and the chef's de cuisine recognizes this. For every dollar donated, our local chapter will match the amount. Help us reach our goal of AT LEAST $500.
Farm to table, 5 course pre set meals, small plates, tasting stations...The dinners are constantly changing and most are available to members and their guests. Some dinners have limited availability; however, many of our "small plate" events are open to the public in large venues and support a great cause!
Fundraisers & Community Outreach
The chapter raises money for scholarships, education and for the community. Chef to Child reaches out to all ages in our school systems and brings adults and children together. Our apprenticeship program gives cooks the opportunity to learn while working from some of the top chefs in Saint Louis.
Top chefs, purveyors, teachers and farmers from around the country come to teach our chapter and foodies alike their craft. Some demonstrations are free and all are geared towards anyone who has the time and passion for this rewarding craft. Join and learn with our dedicated membership.
