It has certainly been a challenging year with the pandemic severely impacting the hospitality business, our jobs and our home lives. Clearly, it has prevented our chapter from meeting and holding our numerous events as well. Many of us thought, perhaps naively, that we would be able to start to return to routine activities after 6 or 8 months time. During this time, the executive officers have been trying to figure out how to safely resume some of our programs, perhaps through video-conference presentations.
However, in the meantime, we would like to remind our members that the national ACF website has numerous classes that provide Continuous Education Credits, ranging from 1 CEH through 30 CEH, and ranging in cost from FREE to ~$300. This may be an opportune time to work on building up the CEHs needed to re-certify.

NEW! Chefs de Cuisine Video
Video of our 2020 Mardi Gras fundraiser, held at Andre's Banquet Center on Sunday, January 26, 2020.
Chapter Partners are businesses in the St. Louis area that support our Chefs de Cuisine chapter by providing us their time and effort, products and services, sponsorship and funding, and most importantly, their participation, expertise and advice about developing trends and needs in the culinary industry, Without them, we could only accomplish a small portion of what we set out to do.
FUNDRAISERS & COMMUNITY OUTREACH
The chapter raises money for scholarships, education and for the community. Chef to Child reaches out to all ages in our school systems and brings adults and children together. Our apprenticeship program gives cooks the opportunity to learn while working from some of the top chefs in Saint Louis.
Top chefs, purveyors, teachers and farmers from around the country come to teach our chapter and foodies alike their craft. Some demonstrations are free and all are geared towards anyone who has the time and passion for this rewarding craft. Join and learn with our dedicated membership.
